We were up at 3:50 am to get ready for our 7 am flight. The Pomeroy's would meet us at our house and we would pile into the car for the early drive to the airport.
Check in was quick and security went with out a hitch, even though Pamela brought Ethan's Nexus card instead of Bill's! Once through security, we found the Priority Pass lounge and had some breakfast with scrambled eggs and sausages. The lounge was small, but well appointed and few people in attendance. The flight was good, and arrival in Houston uneventful. With a four hour layover, we found the Air France lounge, pretty much empty. So we settled in to watch the Brussels vs Wales Euro Cup game. Free beer, sandwiches and snack, in big comfy chairs was great! The time went by too fast. Arrival in Cancun, we found our driver, Jonathan, and arranged a trip to the Mega Mart en-route to Luna Encanatda. What an experience! Upon arrival, I discovered I hadn't printed the code to get into the unit! A tense 10 minutes while scouring email for the codes!
Upon getting in, we decided to walk 5th Ave in search of food and beverage. It was hot, humid and busy! At 11 pm, we found a restaurant and settled in for beers and pizza!
Satisfied, we stumbled home along the beach and to bed in preparation for the next days events!
